Sales Development Representative
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly accomplished sales development professional with a proven track record of generating leads using a range of prospecting tools and platforms. An ideal match for this role would be someone who is passionate about identifying businesses across verticals using various lead generation methods like cold calling, email campaigns and social outreach.
What you will do
- Formulate and execute demand generation campaigns to create a robust pipeline for future growth.
- Follow a research-based approach to identify new markets and companies to continuously expand Wooqer’s TAM
- Initiate conversations with inbound & outbound prospects using calls, chats, emails and LinkedIn messages in the market and geographies allocated to you.
- Qualify leads by assessing their needs based on specific criteria such as Budget, Need and Timeline.
- Identify decision CXOs or relevant stakeholders in organizations who have the authority to make decisions.
- Lead intro-calls, setup Wooqer demos and diligently follow up with prospects to make sure the sales opportunity moves up the funnel.
What you’ll need
- 2+ years prior SDR/BDR experience within a Software Product Company, preferably startups.
- B2B lead generation experience in India or MENA markets
- Industry knowledge of Restaurants and/or Retail is a plus
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion to build a rewarding career in sales and a go getter
- Experience in email drip campaigns is a bonus
- Great understanding of sales processes, right from lead generation to closure.
- Ability to read emotional cues, understand a customer's need and navigate a conversation.
- Willingness to achieve a high volume of prospecting activity everyday while maintaining a positive, energetic and enthusiastic persona.
