About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Content Writer specializing in Email Copywriting, Long-form and Short-form content. The right candidate specializes in crafting compelling email content that drives exceptional open rates and click-through rates. As a member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for creating engaging, professional, and concise email copy and blogs in both long and short forms. Your ability to understand our target audience, conduct thorough research, and deliver impactful messages will be crucial in achieving our lead generation objectives.
What you will do
- Email Copywriting: Develop persuasive email copy for various B2B campaigns. Utilize industry best practices to increase email open rates and click-through rates. Incorporate A/B testing strategies to optimize subject lines, content, and calls-to-action for better performance.
- Research and Understanding: Conduct thorough research on relevant topics in retail, food and tech, target audience preferences, and market trends to inform your writing. Translate complex ideas into easy-to-understand language while maintaining a professional tone.
- Long and Short Form Content: Adapt writing style and tone to suit both long-form content (such as guides, blogs and ebooks) and short-form content (such as emails and social media posts). Ensure that the essence of the message remains consistent across different lengths.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of copy and design elements. Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine email copy.
- Metrics and Analysis: Monitor email campaign and content metrics, analyze performance data, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
What you’ll need
- 2-5 years experience as an Email Copywriter / Blogger / Content Writter or similar roles, with a strong portfolio showcasing content that converts traffic to leads.
- Proficiency in crafting persuasive and engaging content while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Excellent command of the English language, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, and deliverability.
- Ability to conduct thorough research to create accurate, informed, and relevant content for long-form blogs, ebooks and guides.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and data-driven decision-making.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with marketing tools and platforms, such as Hubspot.
